Each unit does not have 10 or 11 lessons, but more like 6 lesson checkpoints plus 2 stories plus 2 gem checkpoints (not lessons). The new path has, as you mentioned, a little over 200 units. I am fighting a cold and lack of sleep so I may totally be off but doesn’t that mean the old tree had roughly 180 lessons per checkpoint multiplied by 10 checkpoints to equal roughly 1800 lessons? Even if we assume progress only to gold and not legendary, that’s 1500 lessons. Within each unit were typically 6 lessons (including legendary) though a few were smaller. Old Spanish tree had 10 checkpoints, correct? Within each checkpoint (except for the first) were around 30 units on average (give or take). Hmm, I had the opposite thought: that they trimmed it down. Please let me know what I'm doing wrong maybe, or if my observation is correct and I should move on to something else. It's like this is made for someone who really can't retain anything, and that everybody needs to learn on that level, and now with the new layout, it's even worse because you are locked in a path and you can't jump around. I always thought that the course is extremely slow and the opportunity to jump levels is limited. īut what I suddenly realized is that the course is unbelievably long. So I'm learning Spanish, looks like I lost some progress with the new update couple days ago.
